The Armada ARV 106 UL is an all-mountain twin-tip designed to slay everything at the resort or even the backcountry. A Caruba wood core keeps the weight down, hence the "UL" for "Ultra-Light". This helps with swing weight when boosting huge airs around the resort, or for when you're hiking to those sick lines both inside and outside of the ropes. It also just adds to the overall maneuverability of the ski. The twin rocker profile, edgeless tip and tail, and Smear Tech bases allow the ski to float effortlessly through deep snow and blast through crud without deflecting. For the more freestyle oriented ripper, these attributes make butters and surfy turns much easier as they allow the ski to feel less hooky. Their twin tip shape not only allows the ski to release very easily, but it also lends itself well to freestyle skiers looking for an all-mountain ski with which they can ski the terrain park as well. Despite a 106-millimeter waist width, the ARW 106 UL can hold its own on firm snow thanks to Armada's AR75 Sidewall construction which features sidewall throughout most of the ski before changing to a cap construction in the tip and the tail.
